A. Moisture-resistant gypsum board primarily addresses the issue of "preventing board deformation"-preventing the board from absorbing moisture and swelling or turning to powder in humid environments; while mildew-resistant gypsum board addresses the issue of "preventing mold growth"-preventing mold from growing on the surface and inside the board. Moisture-resistant boards prioritize structural stability, while mildew-resistant boards prioritize health protection. For places requiring clean air, such as hospitals, kindergartens, and basements, mildew-resistant boards are a more professional choice.
